Louis XV Sloping Desk In 18th Century Marquetry
Louis XV period sloping desk, curved on three sides, in fruitwood, walnut burl, boxwood and wenge marquetry. It stands on four curved legs and opens with a flap and two drawers on the front.
The flap reveals four drawers and a cover that allows the drawers to be locked.
Gilt bronze drawer handles and lock escutcheons.
The leather has been changed. The lock is functional but the flap is veiled and does not lock.
