Holly Bible Stand: Beautiful folding two thick planks of fruitwood are criss-crossed by a half-turned wood hinge, giving a natural inclination for reading while standing.
These boards are perforated like the backs of Alsatian chairs,
here centre is a beautiful Templar cross, pattée with four enlarged branches.
On back, old ink inscription: abbé Gallien.
Condition untouched, overall good, patina should be beautiful once cleaned.
There are cracks, some glued back, but nothing serious,solid, this lectern can still be used.
