Tilting, round barrel in blued steel, with rifled bore and strong front sight. The loading lever is located on the underside.
Six-chamber cylinder, operated without a central pin, serial number 19031
Single and double action with percussion cap firing.
Closed, blued steel frame, marked: STARR. ARMS C°. NEW-YORK on one side and STARR'S PATENT JAN. on the other. 15. 1856, numbered 14411.
Military control marks B on all parts.
Walnut stock with military inspectors' acceptance markings
Model manufactured in 23,000 pieces
Very fine condition; blue to 90%.
