Anthropomorphic Rocket Knife

Circa 1850
Wood, steel and brass
H. 38 ; L 4 cm

Indian knife with thick steel foliated blade, the spindle is made of wood carved in a succession of vertical grooves and ending in an anthropomorphic pommel. The bolster is made of a gilded brass ring.
