Romantic ritual dagger, satanic, composed of a blade with a central ridge and two edges with oval section ricassot and four notches in a row on the blade. Iron guard of oval section fluted, supporting the handle, composed of a gilded bronze, representing Mephistopheles, equipped with a dagger in the right hand and trampling a woman underfoot. Sheath in smooth iron over its entire surface with a stepped chape and button rivet. 19th century. Very good condition. Total length 26 cm. Blade length 16.2 cm handle length 10.1.
