BATET François (1921 – 2015)
Born in 1921 in Barcelona. XX century. Worked in France. Spanish. Painter of genre painting, figures, animated landscapes, interiors. He was as well an engraver and an illustrator. He studied at the Beaux-Arts school of San Jodi in Barcelona and in the academy of Tarrrega. When he was in Madrid, he studied the masters of the Spanish paintings in the Prado museums, whereas when he was un Paris, he is very interested by the impressionists. His worked was exhibited in Paris, USA, Japan and Korea. He is the painter of the Elegant women and the places that she likes such as bars, races, theatres.
