Manuel Cabral Aguado Bejarano (Seville, 1827-1891) was an Andalusian painter considered one of the leading figures of Andalusian costumbrismo, a major movement of Spanish Romanticism. He trained with José Domínguez Bécquer, his father, and at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts of Santa Isabel de Hungría in Seville. He was named honorary painter to Queen Isabella II and received honorable mentions at several national Fine Arts exhibitions. His works are in the Carmen Thyssen Museum in Malaga, the Museum of Romanticism in Madrid, the Museum of Cadiz and other institutions. -
