Armorial Water Pot, Very Rich Motifs And Decorations, 18th Century.
A very well silvered water pot, richly decorated and chased with 18th century nobility motifs and decorations:
-Lily flowers (4) at the top surrounding the frétel.
-Family coat of arms on a top face with laurel surround and succeeds it at the bottom:
.A radiant floral bouquet supported by a garland with hanging ends.
On another face:
.Maltese cross surrounded by laurel branches succeeding it in the lower part:
.A radiant floral bouquet.
On the front flank:
. A fleur-de-lys succeeds it at the bottom:
.A viscount's crown.
.A Maltese cross surrounded by laurels is placed on another side,
.A broad, radiant floral bouquet, in a solar fashion, dominates a hanging garland,
.A bright Sun King finishes off the bottom of the pot's grip handle.
.Simple flowers are scattered throughout the spaces ,
.A motif of wide ovals surrounds the pot in the middle.
Early 18th century water pot in good overall condition, however let us point out two modest dents on one body which in no way affect the silver, decorative and historical value, or even possible use of this fine l'objet.
