A rare, large Deruta apothecary jug with an ovoid body and a wide, three-lobed mouth, featuring intricate calligraphic decoration of plant and animal motifs in vivid orange and blue on a white glazed background. The front depicts an Annunciation within a double concentric circle.
The vessel is in excellent condition.
Its dimensions are 30 cm in height x 30 cm in mouth width. The depth from the handle to the spout is 34 cm.
