Pewter bleeding PALETTE of circular form with raised, molded wing fitted with a poly-lobed console ear openworked with geometric motifs.
Faintly legible hallmark of Etienne SERGENT received master in 1769: crowned hammer / (E).S / (176)9. (The last image shows this same hallmark, fully legible, recorded on another piece)
Mark engraved "au clou" by one of the owners: ETIENNE LALAMPE A MENDIONDE / 1833.

In very good condition, an area of light pitting is noted on the reverse.
First observation of this characteristic Parisian typology adopted by a Burgundian master.
