Jorj Robin (1904 - 1928)
Born in Nantes into a family of artists, raised largely by hisgrandfather, sculptor Joseph Vallet. Georges Robin naturallythe Beaux-Arts in Nantes at the age of 14. He continued his studies at the École Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts in Paris, where he studied undertaught by Jean Boucher. He is particularly notedin the field of sculpture. But Georges Robin had two loves:art and politics. He was an active member of the PartiAutonomiste Breton in Paris. It was through this organization that he met JeanneJeanne Malivel and the Creston couple, and that he naturally joined them in the Seiz Breur movement, which took shape in 1923. He was alsothe creation of the magazine Kornog. He beginshis collaboration with HB in 1924, at just 20 years of age. Thetuberculosis took his life at the age of 24, leaving behind twenty-five different statuaries. This artist did not have the time to givethe full power of her talent, which, had it not been for her premature departure,would undoubtedly have been on a par with Méheut or Quillivic.
