Scalloped Art-deco Bowl With Silver Pearl Decoration By Muller, Daum Galle Era 1920
Artist: Les Frères Muller à Lunéville
Beautiful scalloped art-deco bowl decorated with silver spangles by the Muller brothers in Lunéville.
A very fine object for this bowl, typical of the Muller brothers' art-deco production. The glass is still warm, and the bowl is worked with tongs to create the serrations and vaguettes on the rims. It rests on a small, heat-applied purple heel. Note the pretty colors, with a honey-blue shading in the very bright center and, above all, a silver pearl enhancement (shattered silver leaf) that gives the bowl its sparkle. I'll let you be the judge...
Perfect condition, 24 cm in diameter, signed in point "Muller frères Luneville", well referenced model, circa 1920-1925.
Superb art-deco object, beautiful brilliance, to set on a pretty piece of furniture or in the center of a pretty table!
