Bronze with brown patina and antique green highlights. Signed on the terrace. Sculpture imbued with Western classicism.
- The artist: Originally from Nara, where he would spend his career. Graduated from the Sculpture Department of the Tokyo School of Fine Arts.
1944 noticed at the 6th Ministry of Education Art Exhibition.
1945, exhibited at the Bunsen (Fine Arts Salon) - Nara Prefectural Cultural Prize in 1960
Judge and advisor to the Nitten (Academy of Fine Arts) from 1961 - Produced gouaches and bronze subjects for Nara pilgrimages. Preserved at the Kyoto Fine Arts Museum.
In 1998, he was awarded the ribbon of the Order of the Rising Sun. An illustrated note on the artist and a certificate will be given to the purchaser.
