Regency Period Glazed Glass With Warrior Decorations

Rare Regency-period Parisian glazed mirror, in carved and gilded wood, with warrior decor.

Very fine condition for this important beaded mirror, which has retained its original gilding, a rare feat.

Superb carvings, including helmeted warrior motifs, Corinthian capitals, and baguettes with "à la Bérain" decoration.

The pediment is decorated with a quiver surmounted by a helmet, accompanied by baskets of flowers, interlacing, foliage, dragons and scallop shells.
