Albert Wenk German, 1863-1934 "view Of Nice From Coco Beach 1898" Oil On Canvas

Albert Wenk German, 1863-1934 "View of Nice from Coco Beach 1898" Oil on canvas signed lower right and dated 1898. Note "La Réserve" luxury restaurant, in foreground with 2 towers at the time that are no longer there today, a small coal-fired boat with black smoke. Then the port, the pier, Quai Papacino, Colline du Chateau, Roba Capeu before the war memorial and, in the distance, the Promenade des Anglais with the Casino de la Jetée Promenade. A realistic vision of Nice, 1898! Old-timers in Nice will certainly see details that escape me...
This masterpiece certainly deserves a place in a museum or municipal building!!
