Large, handsome 16th-century carved walnut panel depicting Diana the huntress, in the style of the Fontainebleau school. Beautifully executed, this bas-relief is composed of two thick walnut boards assembled with crosspieces pegged to the back. Superb patina, and very good condition with no traces of woodworm.
