Antique green leather wallet - late XVIIIᵉ / early XIXᵉ century

Beautiful antique wallet from leather and green morocco, 32 × 23 cm, with soufflet 6 compartments.
Edges decorated with iron gilding (grecques and palmettes).
Interior in light blue linen, adjustable by laces, in very good condition, fresh and clean.

Exterior more weathered, but still decent.
Lock with Etruscan vase entry, non-functional (key broken inside).
Please note: wear to corners and underside, old plaster on lower left (see photos).

Thickness: from 4 to 18 cm depending on load - Weight: 0.7 kg.

The materials, sobriety and decorations point towards the Revolution / Directoire, or early First Empire.
