19th Century French Earthenware Vases
Decorated with mythological scenes and floral motifs: Apollo and Daphne; Pan hiding in the reeds and watching putti bathing; Apollo and the serpent Python killed by arrows. The twisted, tendril-shaped handles and lids adorned with stylized animal figures complete the ensemble.
