Large Gilt Bronze Centerpiece
Important ormolu centerpiece from the second half of the 19th century.
Base with four curved molded sides, adorned with a rosette and resting on four toupee feet. Cup in veined alabaster (rare), decorated around the rim with an ormolu frieze adorned with bunches of grapes.
Athenian-style base with four feet, surrounded by rich garlands of flowers and terminating at the top with four ram heads supporting the bowl, and at the bottom with four hooves resting on the base.
The bowl is adorned at its center with a cluster-shaped pendant button motif.
Excellent condition, gilding very well preserved.
