The set is decorated with pomegranates, phoenixes, butterflies and flowers.
On the lower cartel we can see a Chinese or Oriental couple enjoying themselves, this couple can be seen on the top, the man and woman have clothes inspired by the Middle East and Asia, the woman is dressed in puffy clothes and babouche-type shoes.
Romantic period circa 1830.
The movement is complete and working, original balance wheel with the same number as the movement, this one is signed Guyerdet in Paris.
