Baccarat - Rousseau Léveillé Japanese Crystal Bowl

Artist: Baccarat Pour Eugène Rousseau Et Ernest Léveillé
Tinted crystal bowl and bronze mount
Created around 1880 by the Baccarat crystal works for the Parisian house of Eugène Rousseau and Ernest Léveillé and probably also for the famous crystal staircase store of the Pannier brothers
Japanese-inspired floriform bowl on pedestal here without enamel decoration as seen more often and in a rarer light mauve hue than its amber version.
Characteristic orgine mount of prunus branches in bloom in bronze, formerly silvered
Good overall condition with a few minor scratches from use and patina on the bronze base
Very attractive model
