Pair Of Bohemian Crystal Vases—formerly Part Of The Alhambra Collection

A pair of Bohemian crystal vases, made in the 19th century and intended for the Alhambra in Granada during its renovation in the mid-19th century.

These vases are said to have been honored at the 1851 London World’s Fair for the quality of their form, their beauty, and their remarkable craftsmanship. They were subsequently selected to be displayed in a specially decorated niche within the Alhambra Palace.

A pair of great historical and decorative interest, attesting to the refinement of 19th-century Bohemian glassmaking.
