## In very fine used condition, beautiful kork wool collectible rug of the finest quality.
Persian rug using the criteria of ancient Persian decorations, knotted with great finesse and a high quality of wool called "kork wool".
This wool is the first wool of the lamb, it is taken from under the belly and from the neck.
By 1900- 1920 we can hardly imagine the immense labor involved in knotting such a marvel.
The quality of these Persian pieces is unquestionable, the workmanship is fine, precise and durable.
The materials used are first-rate, which means that these pieces remain in good wearable condition, 50 to 70 , 100 years later.
This rug is clean, the wool is soft, beautifully knotted and finely tightened, as these rugs always are.
It reveals shades full of contrasts, lots and lots of colors.
Large bouquets on an orange field and an incredible medallion, orange, lichen green, blue and ivory.
It is encircled by a border of bouquets of roses, lotus flowers, stylized flowers with nine bands.
Traditional wool carpet, comfortable and widely used.
The nuances underline this skilful floral design in the great tradition of Persian art, also found in Mughal art, inspired by the miniatures of the Tabriz school, then capital of the Persian Empire, but totally revised at the beginning of the 20th century.
In fact, the Persian carpet trade has existed for several centuries and trade, European and American demand, has meant that workshops have been bending to the demands of commissioners and those since the sixteenth century.
