Large Stoneware Buddha Head, Ava Style, 17th Century Burma
It's similar to the Ava style from Burma. The serene face noticeably modeled with benevolent eyes, a broad nose, full lips forming a subtle smile and slender eyebrows that gently arch. The hair is smooth, topped with a ushnisha, the earlobes are elongated, extending to the remains of the shoulder.
Signs of weathering and erosion, small nicks here and there, trace of lacquer and gilding.
