Pair Of Old Paris Porcelain Compotiers, Circa 1820-1840
Pair of compotiers in fine Vieux Paris porcelain, with polychrome decoration and rich gold highlights.
Each piece is adorned in the center with a delicately hand-painted figurative scene depicting figures in regional costume - a woman and a man - in a country landscape. The marli is decorated with a wide purple frieze enriched with finely applied gold motifs.
Condition: good overall condition, with wear to the gilding and slight traces of use (see photos).
Dimensions: 24x22.5 cm.
