Large Louis XIII - Louis XIV solid walnut armchair from the early 18th century.
It rests on two baluster-shaped front legs and two straight square-section rear legs. They are connected by an H-shaped crotch turned into a baluster.
The back is flat and high, sloping slightly outwards to provide greater comfort, the top is in the shape of a gendarme hat.
The armrests are crosier-shaped and rest on baluster-turned supports.
Our seat is very comfortable, in fact, both the seat and the covering fabric have been recently redone.
The whole is embellished with a fringed braid and pyramidal studs.
