We present this pair of prints by a Japanese artist URUSHIBARA MOKUCHU, born in 1888 in Tokyo and died in 1953 whose real name was YOSHIJIRO, he was a Japanese printmaker known for his many black and white prints.
Our prints correspond to the period when he engraved from drawings by Franck BRANGWYN.
Many of his donated works are in the British Museum.
