A deep, caned bergère armchair, lounge chair in molded and carved exotic
wood, decorated with foliage, cascading coins, rows of pearls, and
stylized pine cones. The rectangular back, slightly sloping armrests,
curved supports, and straight apron rest on two ball feet at the front
and two small saber feet at the back. England, 19th c.
