Louis XV period box, used in the 18th century to hold the long pins used for women's and men's hairstyles, including wigs.
Elegant object with green and gold decorations in Martin varnish of countryside and tree motifs.
On the top an animated scene shows a fisherman at leisure in front of a stream crossing the space of a slightly wooded countryside.
On the sides we find the representation of the same countryside more or less wooded.
All the scenes are set in an 18th century Louis XV Baroque gilded surround.
The clean interior is red in color.
The closures are original and the decorations in good condition.
