Men's And Women's Travel Case, Vermeil Leather & Miscellaneous Circa 1900 By Keller
Artist: Keller Georges
A travel case...
Complete with even its protection...
Signed by GEORGE KELLER - Avenue DE MATIGNON - PARIS - FRANCE...
From the 1900s...
With all the necessities for madame
and monsieur ...
Or for mesdames or messieurs...!
The case is made of wood all sheathed in supple leather...
The inside is sheathed in skin ( I think because it's a little worn but very soft to the touch )...
All the containers are in solid silver, gilded, in vermeil...!
All are checked with minerve 1er titre...
So 950/1000...
Even the shoe is too...!
The other parts are chrome-plated steel...
There are a few things I've left behind, like little powder boxes and such...
On all the parts and on the protection there are the initials of the first users...
Which are "J. R. G."...
There are two brushes with a cut ivory body...
Circled with a vermeil ring (not weighed in the weight of silverware)...
With initials on the top also in vermeil...
And have a leather protection that encompasses the hair...
The decorations are guillauchets...
A classic piece of FRENCH goldsmithing...
It's in beautiful condition, just a little wear from use but it's nice...!
There's still a little cleaning to be done...
But it can...!
Whole weight over 5 kilos
Weight of goldsmithing objects 1 kilo 572 gr
