Large late 19th-century box. With an undulating shape. Made of various exotic woods: padauk, ebony, walnut, and sycomore. The lid is draped in Art Nouveau style. The interior is lined with pink velvet. This box was made around 1890, between the Art Nouveau and Napoleon III periods. It comes with its original key and working lock. Beautiful patina .
