Rare and beautiful Inuit sunglasses. The slit protects the eyes from sunburn. Early 20th century. Carved from bone, the highly polished, shiny side shows that they were worn a lot. Two holes on each side were used to thread a leather strap over the face.
Rare ethnographic object. Very good condition.
