This pair of screens is made of boiled-pressed cardboard, with a black lacquered background.background. The decoration on one side features flowers and fruiton an entablature. Composed of mother-of-pearl inlays, it iswith painted colors of plant motifs and gildedand gilded fillets. The other side is plain black, with no motif. The turned andis partly varnished and gilded. One of the screensone of the screens is in very good condition, while the secondvisible on the photos. Napoleon III period - late19th century.
