Stephen King - Exceptional Large-format Signature On A Remo Drumhead
Autograph signature by Stephen KING (b. 1947) in black felt-tip pen on a Remo drumhead (Weatherking Coated Ambassador). New York, 2007. (size: 32 cm diameter)
Exceptional extra-large signature (18 cm) by the master of horror and fantasy during his appearance at New York's Webster Hall on June 1, 2007 with The Rock Bottom Remainders, a charity rock band made up exclusively of famous writers, including Stephen King, Amy Tan and Matt Groening, performing live in support of literacy causes in the USA. At this concert, Stephen King welcomed Byrds guitarist Roger McGuinn as a guest star.
The autograph signature is surrounded by Stephen King in a thought bubble and as if crowned by the Remo logo.
This is an extremely rare piece among Stephen King's signatures, due to its size, its medium and the fact that it is non-nominative (a peculiarity of certain charity dedication sessions).
It is accompanied by its original box and a double certificate of authenticity: American (RR Auction) and French (Mirabaud Mercier ). Also enclosed is the new paperback translation of Shining, pictured.
Custom anti-UV and anti-reflective framing is available upon request for an additional €200 (not included).
