Total length: 73.5 cm; Blade length: 56.5 cm
(Historical damage)
Single-edged steel blade with a reverse bevel and fuller; chiselled with clusters of arms, suns, flowers, clouds, a crescent moon and a hunter, and engraved with initials on both sides.
The back is marked ‘LE PETON PLACE DE LA CATHEDRALE À ROUEN’.
Silver guard with quillons, engraved with foliage and hallmarked.
Silver pommel decorated in the same style.
Chiselled wooden shaft, with inlays of medallions and silver mesh.
Silver rivet head cut into a stylised flower.
Leather scabbard.
Cap, tip and belt loop in silver-plated brass.
