Nice snuffbox from "milk white glass", thick rustic opaline18th century, Bohemian glassware, circa 1740-50,
baroque form, mold-blown base, "lapidé" lid, brass mount, once silvered, painted "petit feu" enamels of rustic bouquets, as found in Swiss, Italian and Austrian Alps.
Condition : Superb, original condition, nothing altered.
Wear on the underside, where the colored enamel has almostdisappeared...
