Rare pair of beautifully proportioned bedside cabinets, each opening with five drawers in a slightly curved front, highlighted by ormolu handles and keyways with rocaille decoration.
The structure is entirely veneered in precious wood with geometric frieze marquetry decoration, arranged in a herringbone pattern, testifying to the meticulous, regular workmanship characteristic of 20th-century quality production inspired by the Style Louis XV style.
The uprights are adorned with finely chased bronze falls, and the whole rests on curved legs finished with sabots.
Each piece of furniture is topped with an original molded marble top, with rich brown and cream veining, perfectly fitted to the scalloped form.
