Their company, "Guglielmo Pugi e Figli," primarily exported, especially to the United States. The two brothers later continued the business under the name "Fratelli G. e F. Pugi." Guglielmo Pugi's work, typical of Art Nouveau and Liberty styles, is characterized by direct engraving on Carrara marble (mostly white or veined), some of which are preserved at the Historical Museum in Volterra. Many of his sculptures were exhibited at the 1901 Pan-American Exposition in Buffalo and the 1904 Universal Exposition in Saint-Louis. He won numerous international awards, and his Artworks are held in museums around the world and in the most renowned private collections.
