A rare and lovely blown glass bowl on a wrought-iron foot by André Delatte.
After much searching, I have not found any other examples of this little glasswork gem. Miniature blown-glass piece in a wrought-iron frame, raised by a long foot, also in wrought iron.
All the charm of the art-deco period, the pose in the frame must have been very decilate.
Presence of silver spangles in the glass to enhance the whole.
Perfect condition, signed "ADelatte Nancy" on the neck, 16 cm high, circa 1925.
