Art-deco Vase In Opalescent Glass With Peonies By H. Dieupart, Era Daum Lalique Sabino 1920
Artist: Henri Dieupart (1888-1928)
Superb art-deco vase decorated with stylized peonies by Henri Dieupart.
A truly impressive vase in pressed-molded glass with very strong opalescence. In the purest art-deco style, this conical vase on a pedestal features 2 rows of large, highly geometric flowers.
A very aesthetic, streamlined piece.
Large dimensions: 27.5 cm high and 22 cm in diameter.
Very thick and heavy, weighing in at over 3.7 kilos!
Signed H. Dieupart, cast in the mass, circa 1925.
In perfect condition, not even micro-scratches.
Superb art-deco piece, rarely seen opalescence of this quality.
For the record, Henri Dieupart was a modelist for the Simonet Frères company, glass pieces made at the choisy-le-roi crystal glassworks in a style very close to that of René Lalique and Marius Sabino.
