Elegant Louis XV style marquetry salon pedestal table, made circa 1900.
The circular top features rich marquetry with floral and foliate decoration forming a central medallion surrounded by radiating decoration in precious woods.
The belt is embellished with a drawer on the front, practical for storage. The top is surrounded by a gilded brass moulding. The uprights are adorned with gilded brass trim and the curved legs end in brass sabots.
A movement-shaped lower spacer shelf connects the legs and lends stability and elegance to the ensemble.
French work from the late XIXᵉ century - early XXᵉ century, in the taste of Louis XV furniture.
Very good condition, well-preserved marquetry and clean varnish.
