Ombilic ( basin ) adorned with a vase containing a large plant
with central stem and eight branches bearing leaves,
all crowned with ten stylized yellow flowers.
Marli ( border ) decorated with a frieze of
green and yellow leaves on a sinuous fillet forming a branch.
Green, blue, yellow and red polychromy
from local pigments on beige slip.
Late 19th century - early 20th century (entered France in 1920).
Traditional craftsmanship from the city of Fez.
Very good condition except for a few minor firing defects.
