Mahogany Meridienne / Daybed - 19th Century
Mahogany meridienne / daybed - 19th century
Elegant solid mahogany and mahogany veneer meridienne, resting on a sober base with harmonious lines. This piece of furniture features two scrolled headboards, finely carved with volutes, offering a silhouette that is both balanced and refined.
The wooden structure, with its warm, deep patina, highlights the quality of the material and the cabinetwork. The low, slightly curved base is embellished with discreet moldings that underline the elegance of the whole.
The seat is upholstered with a mattress and two cylindrical bolsters, covered in deep green velvet, providing comfort and contrast with the wood. The sloping backrest provides an ideal resting position.
