"Turkish Sofa From The Empire Period "
Elegant Empire period sofa, early 19th century, with a solid mahogany frame. It features a straight backrest framed by flat uprights topped with turned pommels, typical of the Empire style. The flat armrests are highlighted by small columns finished with carved rosette motifs. The seat, back and sides are upholstered in a green fabric decorated with rich embroidery with gilded neoclassical motifs, perfectly in the decorative spirit of the period. The whole rests on a solid base, ensuring solidity and stability. It has some minor wear on the original fabric and minimal losses on the wood due to age and use.
