Very Large Empire Flat Desk
Imposing Empire-style desk in beautiful flamed mahogany, dating from the 19th century. Beautiful model, with X-shaped legs, mounted on casters. The green leather top is original. 3 drawers and 2 retractable side shelves. Locks work with 3 keys, bronze escutcheons. Middle cabinet, also presentable from the back. Good overall condition, with some minor veneer restoration (see photos). Very heavy piece of furniture, the top with the belt can be dismantled.
