Backgammon Table, Bordeaux Style, Louis XVI Period
An elegant Louis XVI period backgammon table in light mahogany, sycamore veneer, and ebony. Made in Bordeaux.
It features two side drawers. The apron and legs are fluted, and the top is edged with a brass band, which is also found on the top of the base.
The reversible top, with a checkerboard pattern on one side and green felt on the other, reveals a backgammon board.
In good overall condition, with a few light scratches and a stain on the felt.
