Christofle, Silver-plated Metal Serving Set, Aria Pattern, 20th Century

Set of 41 pieces in silver-plated metal, in their Christofle stamped box, comprising: 8 small spoons, 4 dessert forks, 12 large forks, 4 large spoons, 12 large knives, 1 cheese knife, in its box.

The Aria model was created for Christofle in 1985 by the designer Bernard Yot. Inspired by Art Deco, this line is characterized by a motif of bundles of rushes joined at the top and bottom of the handle.

Several marks and hallmarks are visible:
On the spoons and forks: maker's mark (scales with a bee between the pans, surmounted by four stars, two branches below, and the letters OC) and quality mark (square hallmark with a chess knight on the right, the letters OC at the bottom left, and the number I at the top left).
On the knives and cheese knife: quality mark at the top of the handle and the "Christofle" mark on the blade.
