A flat-bottomed, almost cylindrical silver liter-sized jug. The neck has a slightly flared lip, decorated with a double band; the interior is lightly gilded. Made of 950/1000 silver, with the Vieillard hallmark, Paris, 1819–1838. Maker's mark: Charles-Michel Granger, Parisian silversmith specializing in trinkets and jugs. Height: 8.7 cm. Diameter at the neck: 8.1 cm. Weight: 112 g. Capacity: 300 ml. Condition: perfect.
