19th Century Oil On Canvas
Oil on canvas depicting two women, perhaps mother and daughter, in a tender and lovely composition imbued with gentleness, one of them arranging a bouquet of roses. The stuccoed and gilded wood frame has some minor losses. The original canvas has some old restorations visible on the reverse. The whole forms a charming painting, full of sensitivity.
