Eugène Ernest Hillemacher (1818–1887) The Gift at the Window – “To My Pretty Neighbor” Oil on panel, signed and dated lower left. A charming genre scene depicting a young woman leaning out of her window, discovering a delicate hanging bouquet accompanied by a romantic note. The composition is full of poetry and refinement.
